Ronald Myer, President
Mr. Myer has been President of Summit Advisory Inc since 2004. Mr. Myer has facilitated many mergers & acquisitions with over 90% success in meeting client’s goals. Mr. Myer has completed a number of deals in record time from initial discussion through closing, which makes the Summit Advisory team sought after when a deal needs to be done. Mr. Myer has demonstrated creative approaches that help complete transactions. Since 2004 deals have ranged from under $2 million to over $100 million. In many cases, clients have benefited beyond the scope of investment banking from Mr. Myer’s experience and ownership in various businesses.
Mr. Myer has helped to double profits in several companies, with one experiencing average sales growth of 20% per year. He was also involved in obtaining an industry-changing patent, negotiating a government multiple award contract (GSA), and obtaining a Qualified Solutions Provider status.
Prior to Summit Advisory, Mr. Myer was Chief Information Officer for U.S. Plastics Lumber, where he managed 18 people in 8 states. During his 10 years with Armstrong World Industries, he received seven promotions within the financial department. He helped grow one division from $34 million to $105 million and was a plant liaison for SAP implementation and ISO 9000 certification.
Mr. Myer graduated 1st in class from Auburn University’s executive MBA program. He received a BA in Management and a BS in Computer Information Systems from the University of Scranton along with a certificate from Kellogg’s Business School on Corporate Strategies for Creating Shareholder Value. Mr. Myer sits on various corporate Boards of Directors, is a certified Toastmaster, and an ISO9000 auditor.
